What will the weather be like this Saturday in the Canary Islands?

LANZAROTE

Intervals of medium and high clouds. Calima, more intense in the second half of the day. Temperatures in slight to moderate rise, which could be notable in the maximum of the western slope. Temperatures of 36 ºC can be reached, especially in inland areas and on the southeast coast. Northeast wind, tending to variable light wind with breezes during the afternoon.

FUERTEVENTURA

Intervals of medium and high clouds. Calima, more intense in the second half of the day. Temperatures in slight to moderate rise, which could be notable in the maximum of the western slope. It can reach 36 ºC in interior areas, especially in the southern half. Northeast wind, tending to variable light wind with breezes in central hours.

FORECAST MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C):

GRAND CANARY

Predominance of slightly cloudy or clear skies, with intervals of low clouds in the northern coastal strip and intervals of medium and high clouds in the rest. Calima, more intense in the midlands and summits from noon. Minimum temperatures unchanged or slightly rising. Maxima rising on the north face and falling on the southern half, which could be locally notable in the southeastern midlands. Temperatures may exceed 36ºC in inland areas, especially in the southern midlands, and reach 34ºC in the northern midlands. It is not ruled out that these values ​​are reached locally on the coasts. Northeast wind, more intense on northwest and southeast slopes, tending to light wind during the morning. In summits, wind from the south, tending to loose throughout the afternoon.

TENERIFE

Predominance of slightly cloudy or clear skies, with intervals of low clouds in the northern coastal strip and intervals of medium clouds in the rest. Calima, more intense in the midlands and summits from noon. Minimum temperatures with few changes, except for slight rises on the northeast slope. Maxima rising in the northeast and without changes or slightly decreasing in the rest, especially on the southeast slope. Local temperatures may reach 32 – 34 ºC, especially on the southern and western slopes and in the south of the metropolitan area. Northeast wind tending to loose during the afternoon. In high areas, wind from the southeast, tending to loose in the last hours.

LA GOMERA

Predominance of slightly cloudy or clear skies, with intervals of low clouds in the northern coastal strip and some interval of medium clouds in the rest. Calima. Minimum temperatures with few changes. Highs in light to moderate ascent, especially on the north slope. Local temperatures of 34 ºC may be reached, especially in parts of the interior of the island. Northeast wind, more intense in extreme northwest and east, tending to light wind from noon. In summits, southeast wind.

FORECAST MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C):

San Sebastian de la Gomera 23 31

THE PALM

Predominance of slightly cloudy or clear skies, with intervals of low clouds on the north and east coasts. Calima. Minimum temperatures without changes or slightly or declining. Highs in light to moderate ascent, especially in high areas. Local temperatures of 32-34 ºC may be reached, especially in interior points on the west slope. East component wind, tending to loose from noon. In summits, loose southeast wind.

THE IRON

Predominance of slightly cloudy or clear skies, with intervals of low clouds in the northern coastal strip and some interval of medium clouds in the rest. Calima. Minimum temperatures without changes or in slight decrease, especially in high areas. Highs in slight to moderate ascent on the coasts, and without changes or in slight descent in inland areas. Local temperatures of 34 ºC may be reached, especially in inland points on the south and west slopes. Northeast wind, tending to loose during the afternoon. In summits, loose southeast wind.
