The National Police and the Civil Guard investigating the causes of the forest fire which started on Thursday in the area of ​​Los Campechesin the Tenerife municipality of Los Realejos, and which already affects land in San Juan de La Rambla and La Guancha.

The president of the Canary Islands, Ángel Víctor Torres, has indicated this Friday that the fire is still active, and has added that although the forecast is for temperatures to drop in the next few hours, it is also expected that they will rise again on Sunday, to also remember that all Canary Islands is on alert for forest fires.

In the work of controlling this fire we work with ten aerial means and with about 150 people from the ground directly, while more than 100 collaborate, including local and national police, civil guard, Red Cross, and other services.
