As if it were a carnival parade, hundreds of people took over the surroundings of the Tenerife Auditorium on Tuesday afternoon shortly before the presentation of the Engine Circuit which will be located in Atogo, in the municipality of Granadilla de Abona.

Supporters and opponents of the project waited for the start of an event that took place normally and was attended by the riders Carlos Sainz (Formula 1), Carlos Checa (Moto GP) and the Italo-Canarian Christine GZ.

Tranquility reigned in the atmosphere that was breathed in the vicinity of the capital city, despite the conflicting positions of those who are in favor and those who are against the construction of infrastructure in the south of the Island.

Likewise, the established police device prevented incidents among the people who gathered in this area of Santa Cruz.
