A cayuco with 65 people on board arrived at the Los Cristianos dock in the Tenerife municipality of Arona during the early hours of Tuesday., has reported the Emergency and Security Coordination Center 112 of the Government of the Canary Islands.

Salvamento Marítimo located the cayuco about three miles from Arona and, at around 12:45 am, alerted the Red Cross that it was necessary to provide humanitarian assistance to the migrants who were on the boat.

The Red Cross has reported that at around 1:45 a.m., personnel from this non-governmental organization attended to the people who were occupying the cayuco, without having to make transfers to hospitals.
