SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, July 14. (EUROPA PRESS) –
A minor is in serious condition after hitting himself when jumping into the sea in Puertito de Güímar, on the island of Tenerife, as reported by the 112 Canary Islands Emergency and Security Coordination Center.
The events occurred late in the afternoon of this Wednesday in the aforementioned place and at first the minor was assisted by people who were in the area, who were the ones who helped him at sea.
Subsequently, once at the scene, the staff of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) attended to the minor who at the initial moment of care presented a serious back injury, for which he was transferred in a medicalized ambulance from the SUC to the University Hospital Our Lady of Candelaria.
Likewise, agents of the Local Police and the Civil Guard who collaborated with the resources intervened and made the corresponding reports.
