SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, July 13 (EUROPE PRESS) –
The Cabildo de Tenerife has joined today, Wednesday, the call of the FEMP and Fecam to observe a minute of silence on the 25th anniversary of the murder of Ermua councilor Miguel Ángel Blanco.
The president of the Cabildo, Pedro Martín, participated in the act, together with members of the Insular Corporation, who have maintained the 60 seconds of respect at the gates of the Insular Palace in an emotional tribute and memory of the public official, kidnapped and murdered by ETA .
The president had a few words of remembrance for all the victims of the terrorist group and pointed out that a date like today’s helps not to forget the events that occurred and that marked the history of our country.
