The Adeje City Council has awarded ten students from the municipality with the 2022 Young Talent awards, initiative included in the Recréate 2020 project, and with which the Consistory recognizes and values the efforts of young people whose academic records have been excellent. The economic bonus of the prizes amounts to 500 euros each.
The councilor responsible for the Youth area, Carmen Lucía Rodríguez del Toro, explains that the main objective of these awards is “to encourage dedication to study, as well as to value the excellence, effort and academic performance of the students, to promote a formation of quality in teaching”. In addition, adds the mayor of Youth, these awards “are also an incentive for them to continue with higher education.”
The mayor of the municipality of Adeje, José Miguel Rodríguez Fraga, stresses that this group of young they are rewarded “not only for their talent but, above all, for their effort.” “Congratulations to the students and their families for the work they have done over many years. Hopefully that commitment and dedication will always accompany them.
Specifically, this recognition rewards the best academic records that complete the regulated activity of 4th ESO and 2nd Baccalaureate. The young winners have been proposed by the different institutes based on the grades they have obtained throughout the course.

From the IES (Secondary Institute) Galeón, 4th ESO stage, the students Angélica Afonso Díaz and Malak El Ghaliti Akoudad, and the student Emin Zdravkov Kolev Myankov were recognized. From IES Adeje, 4th ESO stage, the students who received the award were Claudia Salazar León and Gabriela Rivero Siverio.
The IES Adeje, Baccalaureate stage, awarded Yuhui Ni Xia, who, for the second time, has obtained an outstanding academic record and, in addition, the University of La Laguna awarded his educational excellence for being one of the thirty best academic records to access the ULL. This young woman is joined by Mario Compte Socas, Ámbar Aizi Bascones Carrodeguas, Carmen Delgado Quintero and Paula Fuentes Ruiz.
