SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, July 12. (EUROPE PRESS) –

A total of three people, including a minor, have been injured of varying degrees after two cars collided in Granadilla de Abona, on the island of Tenerife, as reported by the Canary Islands 112 Emergency and Security Coordination Center.

The events occurred late this Monday afternoon on Calle Hilario, a place to which firefighters from the Tenerife Consortium have moved to free one of the wounded, as she had been trapped inside one of the the vehicles.

Next, the staff of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) assisted a 21-year-old woman, who at the initial moment of care presented a serious head injury, for which she had to be transferred in a medicalized ambulance to the University Hospital Our Lady of La Candelaria.

Likewise, the health personnel treated a 24-year-old woman, who initially presented a moderate chest trauma, for which she was transferred in a basic life support ambulance to the Quirón Costa Adeje Hospital. In addition, they treated a 16-year-old minor with anxiety attacks and mild erosions at the scene of the events.

Local Police officers also appeared at the scene of the incident, regulating traffic in the area and carrying out the corresponding report.
