The City Council of Candelaria has announced this Monday that it will proceed to close all the beaches in the municipality as a preventive measure after detecting again the presence of hydrocarbons in the water of which the origin is unknown.
The Department of Health after to locate in the water and on the shore of the beaches the presence of more spots has proceeded to preventive closure from the same.
Thus, Bathing is prohibited on the beaches of the municipality and the public is informed about the activation of the Housekeeping intensive as soon as the tide allows it.
Candelaria beaches are not the only ones that have been closed, since Limas, in Arafo, has also been closed. In addition, the use of El Cabezo beach, in Güímar, is still prohibited.
