The residents of the capital of Tenerife have been complaining for years about the presence of rodents, located above all in the areas near the Rambla of Santa Cruz of Tenerife.

And it is precisely that, during the night of this Saturday, a person has recorded a ‘family of rats climbing a tree located in the mentioned area.

These animals, mainly when the day falls, appear in the streets in search of food that they find because someone usually leaves bread. However, on this occasion, it is unknown if the rats were tempted by food scraps.

At the beginning of the year 2020, rat extermination work, but months later the situation worsened. “We take our dogs for a walk and we find dirt and rats. Beyond being careful so that the animals do not eat what they have left behind, the problem is the large presence of rats”, they declared affected at the time to this newspaper.
