Tenerife contains diverse spiritual beliefs, ways of understanding the world and more than 200,000 registered people born in other countries. It almost doubles the other islands as a whole in cultural diversity.
The open day will be dedicated to learning more about and sharing the work of the eight groups of this strategy, as well as celebrating cultural diversity with gastronomy and cultural performances. Parallel to the Strategic Framework for intercultural coexistence, Tenerife lives Diversity, which is already being developed after its approval in the plenary session of the Cabildo, drawn up by more than 300 people. The strategy is promoted by the Cabildo with the support of the ULL through its General Foundation and the Tenerife Immigration Observatory (OBITen).
