The Santa Úrsula trade goes out this weekend

The municipality of Saint Ursula This weekend, shops take to the streets and are filled with music, children’s activities and other gastronomic and leisure proposals to enjoy two days of shopping in the open air. With the name of Palmera’s Festival Shop, this initiative, organized by the Santaurus City Council, will take place in the auxiliary road of Las Palmeras avenuebetween six in the afternoon on Saturday, July 2, and two in the morning on Sunday, July 3. It will reopen from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

They will be located in the area about twenty stalls of the municipality, of different sectors; a children’s area; a food truck; a cocktail stand, and a stage that will host various musical performances and shows, such as a batucada; a parade of young fashion, footwear, accessories and uniforms for work, the concerts of Charli Baute, School of Heat and DJs Eme Díaz and Sergio Branic.

The mayor of Santa Ursula, John Acostainvites the population to come to the Palmera’s Festival Shop, “in which they will find an attractive and different proposal in which the public of all ages has a place”. “In the same comfortable and accessible space, you can shop outdoors, eat, taste cocktails, listen to live music and enjoy a variety of activities to spend an unforgettable day. I can’t think of a better plan to meet friends or go with family. It’s a quote that turns Saint Ursula in the ideal meeting point for this weekend”, highlights Acosta.

Among the twenty shops in Santa Ursula that will be present at the festival are stores of fashion, fishing, confectionery, hardware, bookstore, stationery, bazaar, events and household appliances.

In the organization of Palmera’s Festival Shopthe northern City Council has the collaboration of the Council of Tenerife and of Supyme, the newly created business association of Santa Úrsula. As explained by the Councilor for Commerce, Elizabeth Hernandez“it is the first activity that we organize jointly with Supyme and we are very eager and excited about it”.

“The intention is to continue growing and for more companies to join in new editions. We have all the ingredients so that whoever visits us repeats: commercial offers, live music, food, cocktails, performances, parades and children’s area “concludes the mayor.

Events and schedules

The festival program includes more than a dozen proposals that will start on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. with a welcome batucada. At 6:45 p.m. the violinist Ana will perform and an hour later there will be a parade of young fashion, footwear, accessories and uniforms for work. At 9:00 p.m., the Charli Baute concert will begin and at 10:15 p.m., that of the Escuela de Calor group. From 11:45 p.m., and until the end of the first day of the festival, the evening will be enlivened by the music of DJ Eme Díaz and Sergio Branic. All participating businesses will re-display their merchandise for sale starting at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday. At 11:00 a new fashion show will take place, in this case for children and adults. At 12:00, the little ones and their families will be able to enjoy the show ‘Cantar, Contar’, by the Habemus Teatro company. At 1:30 p.m. there will be a new musical session by DJ Eme Díaz and Sergio Branic, who will liven up the atmosphere during lunch. Starting at 5:00 p.m., a new children’s show will begin, this time it will be ‘La Circoneta’, by Clown Totó. Starting at 6:00 p.m., DJ Eme Díaz and Sergio Branic will once again offer their musical selection, which will end at 7:00 p.m.
