End of the party with more Day Carnival and the Rhythm and Harmony contest

The Santa Cruz de Tenerife Carnival 2022 comes to an end today. After four days of uninterrupted partying in the street, with a month of vertigo in which galas and contests followed one another without apparent order until reaching this past Thursday with the Burial of the Sardine according to San Juan, the party comes to an end. In seven months, it will be back again, this time on its traditional dates. The end of the party will be put on by the comparsas with the Rhythm and Harmony contest, which, starting at 9:00 p.m., again on Anaga Avenue. The troupes will take Anaga Avenue in the same order as they participated in their contest at the Fairgrounds, so the first to leave will be the Tropicana candlestick makers, followed by Valleiros, Cariocas, Río Orinoco, Rumberos, Abenaura, Danzarines Canarios, Tabajaras and Bahitiare Bay.

In the contest held on June 18, Cariocas won the first prize for Interpretation, while the second went to Rumberos, the third to Danzarines Canarios, and second prize to Bahía Bahitiare.

A day in which the stages of the Plaza del Príncipe and Plaza de la Candelaria will have live performances for 12 hours, from 12:00 to 00:00. The stage on Avenida de Francisco La Roche will not be operational in order to prepare for the Rhythm and Harmony contest.

Quimbao la Nuit, Álvaro Gamboa & his Latin Show, Zone 7, Arguayo Band, Urban Band, the K-narias, Richard Animation, Pepe Benavente Trio and Kdt’s will perform at the Prince. For his part, Moise Glez will pass in the Plaza de la Candelaria. & su Son y Yá, Obs, Tribute Orchestra to Rubén Blades, Armonía Show, Bembé Orchestra, Orquesta Dorada Band and Orquesta Sabrosa.
