Santa Cruz expects some 300,000 people at the Day Carnival

Santa Cruz de Tenerife will live today, Saturday 25, the first of the two days of day carnival, a celebration that will continue throughout the night and early morning of Piñata Sunday, in which more than 300,000 people are expected to pass through the city, throughout the day and night. Starting at noon, fifty groups, performers and orchestras will star in the program planned for the occasion, mainly on the stages set up on Francisco la Roche avenue and in Candelaria and Príncipe squares.

The city will be filled with families dressed up very early with stages that will keep the rhythm of the most carnival-goers.

The first of the acts of this day carnival It will be the now traditional performance of Los Fregolinos in the Plaza del Príncipe, where, from eleven in the morning, you can enjoy the good work of this historic group of Carnivals.

From noon, the Plaza de la Candelaria will feature the performance of the Carnival troupes, which will be followed by Morocho, Ariel Dkb Cuba, Johnny Maquinaria, Marcelo Mellino Dj + Ballet, Obs Venezuela, Ray castellano, Maquinaria Band, Renzzo el Selector , Wamampy Orchestra, Tropin Orchestra, Ariel Dj Animation, Revelation Orchestra, Morocho & Caracas, Acapulco Orchestra and from 4:00 in the morning the Dinacord Orchestra.

On the stage located in the Plaza del Príncipe, the music will begin at 1:00 p.m. uninterrupted until 6:00 a.m. with the Guayaba Orchestra, Clave de Son, Iván Cacú & his orchestra, Tenerife Orchestra, Corinto Band, Los Concejales, Olympia, La Crazy Band and Generation.

And on Francisco La Roche avenue, the music will start at 4:00 p.m. with Dial Latino and 40 Urban, Ray Castellano, Mike Ledesma, Abian Reyes, Laurentini, Dj Ser and La Maldita.

Areas such as the Orche will advance their opening time to eight in the evening, so in this area of ​​the city you can also enjoy music continuously.

The music will turn off at six in the morning, to resume activity again at twelve o’clock on Sunday morning with the second day of Day Carnival.
