The Governing Council agreed yesterday to extend the credit for the visitor center project of the La Orotava Acclimatization Garden (known as the Botanical Garden, in Puerto de la Cruz) by 500,000 euros, which will be transferred to the Canarian Institute of Agricultural Research (ICIA). ).
This project, whose budget amounts to 2.9 million euros, aims to create a space that conveys to the visitor a clear awareness of respect and care for the natural environment and greater enthusiasm and interest in life on our planet.
The approach is based on the creation of certain milestones or references as artistic expressions where the visitor can analyze and reflect on the subliminal messages that, in a plastic way, reflect and transmit these forms, according to the Canarian Government.
