From this Saturday June 25 and until Wednesday 29 of the same month, the festivities in honor of San Pedro Apóstol will be held in Santiago del Tede, which, on this occasion, will have numerous acts during all the days of its celebration.
After two years without being able to enjoy them, these dates return in style. The festivities begin with the Miss Verano Canarias solidarity Grand Beauty Gala, on Saturday June 25 from 9:00 p.m., in which the dance group Gardel Function, the singer Priscila Amador, the magician David Borras, Kaicee and Soul Mates. The act will be presented by Jaime Hernández. Next, the Great Dance will take place with the Manaury Orchestra, during the break chorizo sandwiches will be distributed to all the attendees.
On Sunday, June 26, starting at 1:00 p.m., you will be able to witness the XV edition of the ethnographic rescue staging “Al Paso de la Cumbre” in the Plaza de Santiago del Teide. Later, at 9:00 p.m., the San Pedro 2022 Grand Children’s Princess Gala will take place with performances by the town’s boys and girls and Disney characters.
Children are the protagonists of the morning of Monday, June 27. Starting at 10:30 a.m., the family day begins with bouncy castles and a puppet show at 1:30 p.m. Throughout the morning, ice cream and sweets will be distributed to all the little ones. In the afternoon, starting at 7:00 p.m., there will be an exhibition of Canarian sports.
We continue the programming with the activities of June 28. Starting at 11:00 a.m., the search for the keys of San Pedro will be carried out for the little ones in the surroundings of the square, as well as Canarian games. Also, ice cream and candy will be distributed to attendees. At 4:00 p.m., there will be a great children’s soccer game.
Starting at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, the Holy Mass will be celebrated in the Parish of San Fernando Rey, in honor of San Pedro Apóstol, officiated by D. Víctor Manuel Fernández Suárez, and sung by the San Buenaventura Choir. Next, the procession during which the bonfires of San Pedro Apóstol and fireworks will be made by the Pirotecnia Hermanos Toste de Los Realejos. Then, chocolate, donuts and cake will be distributed to all those present, to accompany the stellar performance of Pepe Benavente.
To end the celebrations, on Wednesday, June 29, starting at 11:00 a.m. there will be activities for the little ones. Starting at 7:00 p.m., the Holy Mass will take place in the Parish of San Fernando Rey, sung by the Canna group, followed by the procession accompanied by the Santiago del Teide Music Band, the parish priest and municipal authorities, Princesses of the Parties, Miss de Miss Summer and faithful presents.
Upon arrival at the square there will be rain of flyers. At night, starting at 10:00 p.m., there will be a Variety Festival with performances by Teatro Cherfe, the Raíces de Santiago del Teide Folkloric Group, the singer Dulce Barrios, Local Poems by Alicia León and Juan Carlos, and the singer Ana Pilar.
