Thursday 23: Line 1 to Teatro Guimerá

Due to the development of Carnival events, from 7:00 p.m., Line 1 will only operate between the La Trinidad and Teatro Guimerá stops. Being a working day, the service will be carried out with simple units and the usual frequencies.

From Friday 24 to Sunday 26: uninterrupted service with double trams

On Friday 24, Saturday 25 and Sunday 26, the Line 1 double trams will run every 10 minutes, mainly in the morning and afternoon.

Modifications will occur in the night service depending on the day. In this sense, for Friday 24 the frequency of passage will be 12 minutes from 8:00 p.m. and, later, 15 minutes until 9:00 a.m. on Saturday 25.

The security device installed at the La Paz stop will be activated on Friday the 24th, from 6:00 p.m., on the occasion of the Announcer Parade, while on Saturday the 25th it will be installed from 10:00 p.m. During the operation of this device, the Puente Zurita stop will remain out of service for safety reasons.

On the Day Carnival days, Saturday 25 and Sunday 26, Line 1 will see its route reduced from 09:00 in the morning, so that it will operate between the La Trinidad-Teatro Guimerá stops, so there will be out of service the Fundación and Interchange stops.

Metrotenerife reminds that it is necessary to continue with the prevention measures against the coronavirus, the use of the mask being mandatory inside the trams and recommended at the stops, when the interpersonal distance is not maintained. In addition, the operator will continue to apply, as before, hygienic-sanitary and operational measures (automatic door opening, air renewal in trams every 3 minutes, etc.) to minimize the possibility of contagion in public transport.

These special services can be consulted at all stops on the network, on the Metrotenerife website, www.metrotenerife.com; and on their social networks, on Facebook and Twitter (@tranviatenerife).
