The coach of Girona, Michel Sánchez, assured that the team from Girona deserved the promotion of category “for two seasons”.
“Girona has shown once again that it is immortal and that it gets up again,” he said at a press conference in which he was accompanied by his entire coaching staff and his assistants after the victory against CD Tenerife (1-3) .
Michel commented that throughout the game they have had a “sense of solidity”, and that during the week they have tried to “work on the mentality” that they have maintained all year.
