Sanmiguelera by birth and Tacorontera by adoption, Noelia Delgado Ortega will represent the Canary Islands and Spain in the contest of Miss Universe over 30 years old to celebrate from June 22 to July 1 in Seoul and will also do so with a Carnival costume -instead of a typical costume- designed by Alexis Santana, as revealed yesterday at the GF Gran Costa Adeje hotel, one of its sponsors together with the two city councils of the towns to which she feels so attached, as well as other private sponsors such as Chinatown

Noelia is a native of San Miguel de Abona, although she currently lives in Tacoronte. It was during a military time and currently he works as a health worker at the University Hospital of the Canary Islands and belongs to the Danzarines Canarios troupe, with which he will participate today in the contest to be held at the Fairgrounds, although he knows that “I will miss the rhythm contest and harmony that I like so much”, said this 40-year-old woman who aspires not only to the title of Miss Universe +30 but to “be able to be a candidate for queen of the Carnival”, one of her greatest wishes.

Noelia Delgado’s presentation before traveling to Korea took place at the GF Gran Costa Adeje / S.MÉNDEZ

The councilors of San Miguel, Lot García, and of Tacoronte, Raquel Marichal, yesterday showed their full support, valuing that the presentation video in Seoul will show not only the virtues of the Canary Islands, but of those two municipalities that have given so much.
