Puerto de la Cruz will celebrate Bicycle Day on September 12. The route, which will begin in the Reyes Católicos square at ten in the morning and will go through the streets of the center of the municipality to end in the Plaza del Charco. The event tries to encourage the participation of all ages, so it is non-competitive and will circulate at a moderate speed with separate groups of cyclists led by members of the organization, Local Police, Civil Protection and volunteers from the Club Caravaning Chinech.
On this occasion, out of respect for security measures in response to the current health situation, the raffle of gifts among the participants will be held at the beginning of the route to avoid crowds and the winners will be able to collect their prize through a personalized appointment the following days to the event.
