The Department of Commerce Municipality of La Orotava organizes a new edition of the shop window and facade decoration contest with allegorical motifs the patron saint festivities in honor of Corpus Christi, San Isidro Labrador and Santa María de la Cabeza. This contest is convened with the aim of valuing the participation and the effort of the SMEsrevitalize local commerce, liven up the shops more on these dates and reinforce the image of the Villa at parties.
The jury will assess originality and creativity, design and harmony, product or service display, lighting, order and color combination. Three prizes are established per category. The first two prizes will obtain a set of radio advertising spots for a maximum amount of 600 euros each. While the second and third prize will obtain a batch of advertising spots for a maximum amount from 250 euros.
A popular prize will also be awarded per category, without financial endowment, chosen by popular vote. through the municipal websiteuntil Sunday June 26. The awards ceremony will take place in the Plenary Hall of the City Council of La Orotava during the month of July.
From the Villero City Council, the involvement of the businessmen of the municipality is appreciated, participating and renovating their shop windows and facades, thus setting the municipality more during the festive dates.
