the local cyclist Daniel Hernandez Evora of the Loro Parque team with a time of 19:33 was the absolute winner of the VIII edition of the Santiago del Teide Cycling Tour, which was organized by the Santiago del Teide City Council with the collaboration of the La Casona del Patio hotel and the hotel Landmar Costa Los Gigantes.
Second came in Gaston Toledo with a time of 19:54 while the cyclist finished in third place Jose Manuel Hernandez with a time of 20:06.
In the female category, the podium was as follows: the local cyclist finished first Annick Vande Kerckhove with a time of 28:31, in second place he entered Snizhana Kabancha with a time of 30:00 while in third place he finished Ana Alicia Yanes with a time of 30:08.
Regarding the participation of local male runners, the classification was as follows. In first place finished Daniel Hernández Évora, in second place finished Pedro Martin Saiz with a time of 22:46 and, in third place, finished Nauzet Linares Martín with a time of 23:03. In the local women’s category, the winner was Annick Vande Kerckhove.
In the new category E-Bike (electric bicycles) the winner was the local rider Julian Hernandez with a time of 16:31, second place went to Francisco Jose Dominguez with a time of 19:23 while in third place he finished Anthony Molina with 20:28.
In addition, prizes were awarded to the club with the largest number of participants, which turned out to be the “Stelvio Team”, to the youngest participant “Chedey Dorta” and to the oldest participant “Jesús Eloy Domínguez”.
The Councilor for Sports, Juan Carlos González, as well as different members of the government group, were present at the award ceremony.
