The strong waves that shook the north coast of Tenerife this weekend left a surprise on a beach in Anaga. The Municipal Operational Coordination Center (Cecopal) of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council reported this Sunday that, due to the poor state of the sea, it raised red flags on several coastal beaches, specifically in Las Gaviotas and in Roque de the wineries.
In the latter, the sea brought to shore the remains of an animal whose species could not be identified given its state of decomposition. Cecopal reported that the finding had been brought to the attention of the Department of the Environment and the Natural Environment Unit.
