The conference room of the State Public Library in Santa Cruz hosted the conference Implications of Law 7/2022 on waste and contaminated soil for a circular economy, organized by the Red Cross. The forum was aimed at representatives of public administrations, companies and entities of the third sector. The meeting was attended by 31 people. It was inaugurated by the councilor of the Cabildo for Sustainable Development and the Fight against Climate Change, Javier Rodríguez Medina.

The experts developed five presentations before a round table, with all the participants, very participatory. The objective has been to publicize the novelties of the new law in the production and management of waste.

Among other topics, the difference between the collection and transport of waste or the enhancement of prevention with special emphasis on reuse and repair were addressed.
