SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, June 9. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The Governing Council authorized in its session this Thursday the Ministry of Health to allocate 3,194,773.75 euros to the contracting of the surveillance and security service of the Maternal and Child Insular University Hospital Complex and its dependent centers, for a period of twenty-four months.
The purpose of the service is the protection of people (users and staff), property, establishments, objects, vehicles and belongings of the hospital complex and its dependent centers, as well as participation in prevention, protection and intervention in emergency situations, all in accordance with current safety regulations.
The centers in which these surveillance and security activities will be carried out include the Insular University Hospital of Gran Canaria, the Maternal and Child University Hospital, the Prudencio Guzmán, Telde-El Calero and Vecindario Specialized Care centers, the Community Mental Health units of Telde, Vecindario and El Lasso, the Las Palmas Mental Health Unit for Children and Adolescents and the general store.
The service, which will be contracted through an open procedure and ordinary processing, may be extended up to a maximum of five years, in accordance with article 29 of Law 9/2017, of November 8, on Public Sector Contracts.
