The weather for Friday in the Canary Islands: heat above 30 degrees and wind

Cloudy skies in low areas of the northwest of the islands of greater relief this Friday, while in the rest of the areas of these islands little cloudy or clear, according to the forecast of the Meteorology Statal Agency (Aemet).

Occasional drizzle is not ruled out during the early morning in low areas of northern Gran Canaria and the northeast of Tenerife.

In Lanzarote Y Fuerteventura it will be cloudy on the western slopes, the rest slightly cloudy or clear; late in the day tending to cloudy skies throughout the territory of both islands.

Temperatures with few changes or in slight decrease. In inland areas of the southern half of Gran Canaria could still reach or exceed 30 ºC locally.

North wind in the eastern islands and Tenerife, and from the northeast in the rest, generally moderate with strong intervals on the southeast and northwest slopes of the islands with greater relief, the southeast slope of the Metropolitan area of ​​Tenerife, as well as in the southeast area of ​​Lanzarote and the southern half of Fuerteventura; in these areas occasional gusts of very strong wind are not ruled out

In the sea there will be a northeast or north component force 5 or 6 in the west and east, occasionally 7 offshore and 4 or 5 in the north, locally 3 or 4 along the coast. Strong swell, areas of thick in east and west. North swell between 1 and 2 meters.

LANZAROTE

On the western slope, cloudy skies predominate all day, on the rest, slightly cloudy or clear, and at the end of the day, tending to cloudy throughout the island. Temperatures with little change. Generally moderate north wind with strong intervals in the southeast, where occasional gusts of very strong wind are not ruled out.

On the western slope, cloudy skies predominate all day with the opening of some occasional clearing in central hours, in the rest, slightly cloudy or clear and at the end of the day, tending to cloudy throughout the island. Minimum temperatures without changes, the maximum in slight decrease, moderate in the interior of the southern half. Generally moderate north wind with strong intervals in the southern half, especially affecting the Jandía peninsula where occasional gusts of very strong wind are not ruled out.

In low areas of the cloudy northeast, with the opening of some occasional clearing during the central hours. Occasional drizzle is not ruled out during the early morning. North wind with strong intervals on the west and east slopes, where occasional gusts of very strong wind are not ruled out. In summits moderate north wind component.

THE PALM

In low areas of the north and east, cloudy skies during the morning and at night, with the opening of wide clearings during the central hours and tending to slightly cloudy. In the rest, a bit cloudy or clear. Temperatures with few changes on the coasts and with a slight decrease in the midlands and summit. Northeast wind with strong intervals and occasional very strong gusts on the northwest slope and in the extreme south, as well as in the El Paso area.

THE IRON

In low areas of the north, cloudy intervals during the morning and night with wide clearings and tending to a little cloudy from midday. In the rest, a bit cloudy or clear. Slightly falling temperatures. Northeast wind with strong intervals and probability of occasional very strong gusts in the extreme northwest and on the southeast slope.
