A 66-year-old man has been seriously injured when he was hit by a car in Puerto de la Cruz, in Tenerife, the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands has reported.
About 11:52 p.m. yesterday, a call alerted 1-1-2 of a pedestrian being run over on Avenida Marqués de Villanueva del Prado.
The 1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources, while the health personnel assessed and assisted the wounded man who was transferred with serious polytrauma to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands.
