The City Council of Santiago del Teide, in collaboration with the Cabildo de Tenerife, organizes the new edition of the amateur theater show under the title of “Aficiónate 2022”, which will take place from June 9 to 11 at the Grama Cultural Center.
The objective of this cultural project is none other than the promotion of non-professional theatrical activity, thus supporting their work and creativity by disseminating their scenic proposals.
In this sense, this edition will have three stagings. On Thursday, June 9, starting at 6:30 p.m., the company “Sol y Sombra” will perform its work “Notebook for the use of Poncia and Bernarda”, an adaptation of Lorca’s classic, in which they will represent five scenes from each of the three acts that make it up, all through only two characters, played by two men, a risky proposal that is being staged for the first time.
On Friday, June 10, the Cedarpre company will perform, starting at 6:30 p.m., its work “Venice”, aimed at family audiences from 12 years. In this case, it is a work where friendship and solidarity are the protagonists of the story”.
Finally, the company Marmore Teatro Management and Distribution in Culture with La Chana Teatro, will stage its work on Saturday, June 11, starting at 6:30 p.m. “Snow White”. Aimed at family audiences from 6 years old, this play is about a story that we all already know, but presented from a totally innovative and particular point of view.
