SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, June 2 (EUROPE PRESS) –

The spokesman for the Government of the Canary Islands, Julio Pérez, stated this Thursday that the Executive is going to “tighten” to speed up the transfer of coastal powers on July 1, but has once again made it clear that it will not do so if it is not guaranteed. an increase in resources and personnel.

In a press conference to account for the agreements of the Governing Council, he pointed out that they should not exercise competition anymore, as some business federations maintain, because the financing is “permanent” and it is necessary to know what means are available.

He commented that historically it has been detected that the staff of the Coastal Demarcation in the Canary Islands is “scarce” and the Canarian Government wants to manage it “well” and for “improvement to be noticed”, the work team must be well equipped.

Pérez has stressed that “the first position is to negotiate” and the transfer of powers cannot be accepted “without discussing”.

Along these lines, he stressed that the discussion with the State is “numerical” about the cost of the service and although they want it to be “as soon as possible”, he stressed that the important thing is that it be done “well”.

The spokesman has also said that the transfer of transfers in private security has been requested, which is more “simple” and will be done shortly, after the contacts established with the Secretaries of State for Security and Public Administrations.
