SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, June 1 (EUROPE PRESS) –
The Cabildo de Tenerife has approved the programming of the Network of Municipal Scenic Spaces that includes 344 shows until March.
This is the result of the second call opened by the Culture area, which is managed by the Minister Enrique Arriaga, who thanks “the effort of the 27 municipalities that have participated in this line of cultural revitalization that will enhance the offer throughout the island geography” .
Arriaga explains in a note that this new call is included within one of the axes that was raised in the Strategic Plan for Culture and clarifies that this initiative has one million euros, “of which 500,000 euros are contributed by the Cabildo, the same amount that the municipalities must contribute”.
It also points out that this line of action includes the municipal proposals for performing and musical arts included in the catalog of the Network of Performing Spaces, which has been managed through Auditorio de Tenerife.
This programming includes the shows planned until March 31, 2023.
The insular director of Culture, Alejandro Krawietz, is satisfied with the “wide response” that they have had from the municipalities and will serve to keep the cultural venues that are included in the network active.
“This programming will facilitate citizens’ access to quality shows and in the same way will help spread the artistic creativity that we have on the islands,” he details.
The programming in the Insular Network of Municipal Scenic Spaces offers 30 functions in the month of June that will take place in the towns of La Matanza, Adeje, El Sauzal, Tegueste, Guía de Isora, La Guancha, Los Realejos, San Juan de la Rambla , La Victoria, Arona and Tacoronte.
