Puerto de la Cruz aspires to attract more digital talent

The Council of Tenerife has hosted the presentation of the first international festival dedicated to digital culture and remote workers Tenerife Digital Nomad Fest (Tednomad), which is celebrated in the Lake Martianez from Puerto de la Cruz, from June 2 to 5, with the aim of attracting more digital talent to the island and positioning it even better as an attractive destination for digital nomads. This first edition will start with the capacity of its activities practically exhausted.

tednomad is an event sponsored by the Cabildo, through Tenerife Tourismbeside Tourism of the Government of the Canary Islands and the City Council of Puerto de la Cruz. It will have the participation of representatives of some of the most advanced companies in the sector such as Nvidia, Bit2Me, GET Protocol, Fellow Funders, Plain Concepts, Meta or Flexjobs, among others.

Within the conference program, personalities such as the advisor for the city of New York, Dror Poleg; the journalist specializing in technology and Silicon Valley, dan lyons; the economic and scientific popularizer, Marc Vidal; two of the most important artists in NFT in Spain, Zigor Samaniego and Luis Toledo; the cybersecurity expert susana gonzaleza lawyer from the Écija law firm, who will speak about protection on the internet together with the ethical hacker Marcus Hutchins. In addition, the agenda will be enriched with the interventions of various remote workers such as mike swigunski (Global Careers), Delilah Dawid (goal) or Gui PerdrixCEO of Co-liv, a startup dedicated to promoting communication between people in nomadic environments and new spaces of coexistence.
