Sánchez congratulates the Day of the Canary Islands and highlights its “unstoppable” progress towards a “prosperous and transformative” future

The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has congratulated the Day of the Canary Islands, which is celebrated today, Monday, May 30, on his official Twitter account.

Pedro Sánchez stressed that the Canary Islands are “a unique land, proud of its past, unstoppable progress towards a prosperous and transformative future”.

The president added that today its eight islands “celebrate their roots and also all the good things that are yet to come”, while he congratulated the Canary Islands on Community Day.
