Two arrested british tourists for trashing a hotel room in Tenerife. Agents of the National Police detained at the control of the border post of the airport of Tenerife Sur to two young people of 21 and 22 years of age as alleged perpetrators of a crime of damage. The young people intended to leave national territory without paying for the damage they had caused to the hotel room where they were staying.
The events occurred days before the arrest. Two British twentysomethings caused multiple damages in the hotel room where they were staying. Walls, furniture and supplies were affected by the vandalism. They even threw the plasma television into the street from the balcony.
Despite the fact that they promised to pay the hotel management for the damages, exceeding 2,000 euros, on the 10th they were identified at the National Police airport control when they tried to leave the national territory without doing so, on a flight to the United Kingdom. .
The young people, thanks to the coordination between units of the National Police, were arrested and transferred to the police units of the border post. The detainees, together with the report prepared for this purpose, were placed at the disposal of the competent judicial authority.
