Last Monday, May 16, the period of voluntary payment of taxes began in Santa Cruz, through which the City Council expects to enter more than 56 million euros. The Tax on Goods and Real Estate (IBI), filming, household garbage, fords or ATMs, may be paid until next July 18. The Councilor for the Treasury, Juan José Martínez, recalls the bonuses that users can still benefit from and that range from 4% for direct debiting the payment of receipts, to a 100% bonus for people who meet the requirements of financial incapacity. “Added to this is the change we have made in the IBI where we tax 37 large owners,” said the mayor.

IBI

Precisely that of the contribution is the tax for which the City Council collects the most. In this campaign the figure is 41.2 million, to which another two million must be added for the IBI of special characteristics.

Filming

For filming, the forecast is to enter 5.5 million euros. In this case there are several bonuses that are active. The first one is the one that affects vehicles over 25 years old, which ceases to be applied ex officio, and has to be requested to be applied in the following year, although, “exceptionally and exclusively for those vehicles that have reached 25 years in 2021, this bonus will be granted with effect in the 2022 financial year, provided that the request has been made this year. It must also be expressly requested if you want to continue enjoying the bonus for engine characteristics, in which, again, exceptionally, it will be applied this year if it was requested throughout this 2022. The last bonus has to do with with the assumptions in which the 100% exemption has been recognized due to disability.

Trash

In this tribute, with the application of the aforementioned 10.5% bonus, which will reach around 90,000 families, the receipt to be paid this year goes from 77.95 euros to 69.77, while those who have a recognized large family bonus, they will pay 34.88 euros compared to 38.97 in previous years. As for the 100% bonus, there are just over 900 families that are going to benefit, provided that they have recognized this situation through the corresponding tax certificate.
