A worker at the Tenerife North airport was investigated for stealing high-value jewelry



The Civil Guard is investigating a worker from a parcel company at Tenerife North Airport, whom they accuse of having stolen jewels valued at around 20,000 euros.

According to sources from the armed institute, this 40-year-old man took advantage of his job at the airport to steal merchandise that once it arrived on the island, it had to be transported to a jewelry store in Adeje.

The parcel company reported that in recent months several packages had been stolen.

The investigations of the Civil Guard led to this man, on whom agents of the Tax and Borders Section of the Tenerife North airport have instructed investigation proceedings as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of theft.

The proceedings instructed have been made available to the investigating court in La Laguna guard functions.
