SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 17 May. (EUROPE PRESS) –

The Minister of Education and Vocational Training, Pilar Alegría, will be on the island of La Palma this Tuesday and Wednesday to visit the areas affected by the lava and also the centers that have welcomed students.

The minister, together with the Government delegate in the Canary Islands, Anselmo Pestana, and the Minister of Education, Manuela de Armas, will visit the CEIP La Laguna area, the El Retamar Cultural Center and the Official Language School of Los Llanos, where they will meet with members of the Isla de La Palma Rural Schools collective.

The next day, the minister opens the Congress ‘Educational inspection and emotional education. Implications in improving learning and coexistence’. She will then visit the Princesa Acerina Center and the Eusebio Barreto Lorenzo Secondary School.
