SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, May 7. (EUROPE PRESS) –

The National Police have investigated a 45-year-old man and a 46-year-old woman on the island of Tenerife for the alleged authorship of the crimes of false documents and against social security for facilitating fictitious contracts to defraud Social Security, creating a loss of about 21,000 euros.

In a statement, the Canary Islands Police Headquarters explained that these two people, sole administrator and intermediary, respectively, acted through a company with no activity located in the south of the island.

Thus, they were dedicated to facilitating employment contracts to third parties in order to facilitate contracts to third parties, apparently for about 250 euros, so that they would benefit administratively in terms of social benefits and immigration regime.

For its part, the investigation arose from the interministerial cooperation agreements of the Government of Spain, materialized in this case by the collaboration between the State Employment Service, the Provincial Labor Inspection of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and the National Police.

So far, investigators have identified eight citizens who, through this type of fraudulent contract, have obtained administrative benefits.

The investigation continues and the National Police does not rule out new actions in the future.
