Agents of the Civil Guard of the Tijarafe Post have investigated five people after an action carried out during the last four months upon learning that medical prescriptions could be falsifying on the Island.
Apparently, in the pharmacy of the municipality of Tijarafe, up to 16 medical prescriptions had been dispensed in which a medicine was prescribed, with suspicions that the prescriptions could be false, a fact corroborated by the College of Pharmacists.
After the investigation carried out, it has been detected that in recent months not only prescriptions from doctors on the island of La Palma have been falsified, but also on the island of Tenerife.
Finally, five people have been investigated as alleged perpetrators for an alleged crime of document falsification (private medical prescriptions and withdrawal of medicines subject to medical prescription), passing to the Guard Court of the Llanos de Aridane.
