SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 27 Apr. (EUROPE PRESS) –
Agents of the National Police have arrested a 22-year-old man, with a police record, as the alleged perpetrator of a robbery with force in things committed in a vacation apartment in the tourist town of Arona, in Tenerife.
The events occurred days ago, at dawn. A resident of Rafael Puig Lluvina street observed a young man climb the separation wall to the house next to his. He notified the National Police, losing sight of the young man who was fleeing.
The agents met with the applicant, who provided them with the physical description of the alleged perpetrator of the robbery with force. Given the immediacy of the events, the agents patrolled until they located an individual in the vicinity who matched the physical characteristics that had been provided to them.
In the superficial control of his personal effects they found a high-end smartphone, a laptop and a tablet for whose possession he could not provide any type of rational explanation.
Given the existing indications, the national police proceeded to arrest the young man and transfer him to the police station. Once there, the tourist staying in the house object of the robbery appeared. When they were shown to him, he recognized the technological devices, which were given to him, as his own, valuing them at more than 1,700 euros.
The actions were carried out by national police officers from the South Tenerife National Police Station.
