The Area of Roads and Mobility of the Cabildo de Tenerife will continue working during the next week on the rehabilitation of the TF-1 and will begin to extend the wearing course in the direction of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
According to the Island Corporation, the work will be carried out between Costa Adeje and Playa Paraíso. Likewise, the rolling course will be completed in a southerly direction. The works will be carried out from the night of Sunday, April 24 to the night of Thursday, April 28.
The rehabilitation, carried out by Sacyr, will affect the road in the Adeje direction from Sunday the 24th to Wednesday the 27th, while on Thursday the 28th work will be carried out in the Santa Cruz direction. Specifically, work will be carried out around links 76 (Costa Adeje, Torviscas/Playa Fañabe), 78 (Costa Adeje/La Caleta/Fañabe), 79A (Adeje), 79B (Las Nieves/Los Olivos) and 81 (Los Menores/Armeñime/Playa Paraíso) that will close at some point during the week.
Specifically, this measure will be taken at night, between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., so that inconvenience to users is minimised.
To guarantee the safety of the area, Highways will enable different detours. During the nights of Sunday 24 to Wednesday 27, it will not be possible to use links 78, 79A, 79B and 81 in the direction of Adeje.
Junction 76 will only be closed on the night of Sunday 24. Therefore, vehicles traveling south and wishing to access any of the affected areas must continue to exit 87 (La Vera/Playa San Juan), where they can a change of direction to return, in the direction of Santa Cruz, to the destination area.
On the other hand, those who from these towns seek to drive in the direction of Guía de Isora, should leave towards Santa Cruz until exit 73 (Playa de las Américas) and make a U-turn to join in the direction of Los Cristianos.
On the night of Thursday, the 28th, the rehabilitation work on the road will be carried out in the direction of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and junctions 78, 79 and the incorporation of junction 81 into the motorway will be affected, the vehicles that circulate along the road in the direction of the capital and wish to access La Caleta, Fañabe or Adeje, they can continue to Junction 75 (San Eugenio) and make a U-turn to return, heading south, to the destination area.
Finally, those who wish to go towards Santa Cruz from Los Menores, Armeñime, Playa Paraíso or Adeje should exit towards Guía de Isora until Junction 87, make the U-turn and merge north.
