The tables for the ball of magicians of Santa Cruz had a price of 10 euros

The 656 tables for the Santa Cruz magician’s ball have been completely sold half an hour after 10:00, the official time at which the reservation of the same at a price of 10 euros.

Some users have reported that, due to a web error, they could be purchased before that time, something that has caused them to be sold even faster.

The tables for the magicians’ ball in Santa Cruz de Tenerife will be set up in the usual urban setting for the celebration of the Magicians’ Ball in Santa Cruzbetween the streets of Antonio Domínguez Alfonso (La Noria), Calle Nifú-Nifá, Campo Castro, Calle Bravo Murillo, as well as in the squares of Europe and the Church of the Conception

MAY 2022 FESTIVALS PROGRAM

Among the activities included in the program, the Election Gala of the Queen of the May 2022 Festivities stands out, whose celebration is scheduled for Friday [día 29] at 9:00 p.m. on the stage located in the Plaza de La Candelaria. Finally, there will be a total of 35 candidates who aspire to raise the scepter after expanding, exceptionally, the quota of applicants, given the high demand registered in the call for these May 2022 Festivities.

The event, presented by Elvis Sanfiel and directed by Javier Caraballero, will feature a representation of the best voices from the islands, including Ciro Corujo (Lanzarote), Claudia Álamo (El Hierro), Luis Morera (La Palma), Víctor Estárico (Fuerteventura), Patricia Muñoz (Gran Canaria), Besay Pérez (Tenerife), or Aarón Morales (La Gomera), among other Canarian soloists. In addition, the Santa Cruz group Soul Sanet and the comedian Petit Lorena will participate.

A day later, at 7:00 p.m., the same stage will host the 10 girls and 5 boys who will participate in the Magician and Children’s Magician Election Gala, which will feature a performance by “La Rebelión de Cuentópolis”, the singer Irene Gil and a children’s party.

The XLV Regional Exhibition of Flowers, Plants and Traditional Canarian Crafts for the Fiestas de Mayo 2022, which, as is traditional, will take place in the García Sanabria Park, will begin on Wednesday, April 27, with various activities that will last until Tuesday, April 3. May, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The sample will have the participation of 4 companies of flowers and plants; 43 stalls for the exhibition and sale of traditional and contemporary craft products; as well as 15 stands specialized in gastronomic crafts; in addition to 2 tents for non-governmental organizations. The traditional puppet shows, Gorgorito: Maese Villarejo and her animated dolls; the workshop tent and environmental activities of the Sustainable Santa Cruz Foundation; In addition to musical performances, they complete the agenda of an exhibition that tens of thousands of people visit every year.

On Monday, May 2, at 7:00 p.m., the traditional offering to the Patron Saint of the Canary Islands will take place at her monument in the Plaza de La Candelaria, which will feature a performance by the Farutes del Atlántico Folkloric Group. At 9:00 p.m., the Magicians’ Ball will begin in its usual urban environment. In this appointment, the Taifa dances and parrandas are recovered, which will be held from 10:00 p.m. on the stages arranged in the Plaza de Europa and in the Campo Castro, enlivened by different folk groups. El Charco de la Casona, will present a popular festival atmosphere and the performance of different orchestras is scheduled, starting at 11:30 p.m.

On the day of the Cross, Tuesday, May 3, starting at 12:00 noon, the usual tour of the Rambla Crosses Exhibition will take place. At 7:00 p.m. a Eucharist will be celebrated in the Iglesia Matriz de Nuestra Señora de la Concepción to commemorate the 528th anniversary of the founding of the city, followed by a procession with the Holy Cross that will be attended by the representative of SM el Rey, together with the civil and military authorities, touring the streets of Santo Domingo, Calzada La Noria and Padre Moore.

Music with a Canarian accent will have a special role in this edition, so on May 6 at 8:00 p.m., the Plaza de La Candelaria will host the Tajaraste Festival with performances by various folk groups and the Tajaraste Cultural Association; At 7:00 p.m., a parade with the participating groups will depart from Plaza de Weyler to the stage. A day later, at 8:30 p.m., it will be the turn of the XIV Edition of the SON 21 Festival. The musical program for that weekend is closed by Ágora Female Essence, which will perform on Sunday, the 8th, at 9:00 p.m.: 00 hours.

On Friday, the 13th, starting at 9:30 p.m., the Canarias Urban Fest will be held in the Plaza de La Candelaria with the participation of various young and current music groups. The @timple2021 concert will take place the next day at 9:30 p.m. The XXVII edition of the “Santa Cruz, World Heart of Bolero” Festival will return to the capital on Sunday, the 15th, starting at 9:30 p.m.

The Plaza de La Candelaria will host on Friday, the 20th, starting at 9:30 p.m., a new edition of the Santa Blues festival. Besay Pérez will offer her concert “My history, my songs”, on Saturday, the 21st, at 9:00 p.m. Olga Cerpa and Mestisay will close the programming for that weekend, on Sunday, the 22nd, starting at 9:30 p.m.

On Friday, the 27th, at 9:00 p.m. it will be the turn of Soul Sanet, who will perform on the stage of La Candelaria square and will give way to a weekend with different recreational and cultural activities to commemorate the Day of Canary Islands that will put the end to the Fiestas de Mayo 2022.
