The Municipality of Los Realejos announces an increase of 41.5 percent in nominative subsidies to sports clubs and entities in the northern town, which this year they go from 126,100 euros last year 2021 to 178,500 euros this 2022according to the councilor responsible for the Sports area, Benito Devora (PP).
The realejero mayor emphasizes that “both the record in investment and in number of clubs or beneficiary entities will be reached in 2022, since there are a total of 28 in this case.” This increase is due to the recent incorporation as beneficiaries of the Sprinter Athletics Club, El Asomadero Petanque Club, Tenerife Area Volleyball Club and Senda del Bentor Club“which have already fulfilled the requirement of at least two years appearing as registered in the register of citizen entities of the locality”.

Keep it up Benito Devora that «these 178,500 euros for nominative grants are added to the 100,000 euros for competitive grants that are also allocated from the Department of Sports to sports clubs and entities, as well as to individual athletes, based on their sporting merits.
These extra aid “will be called immediately”, as announced by the councilor Benito Devora«which adds up to a total of 278,500 euros in direct economic aid to sports practice granted from the Municipality of Los Realejos with the municipality’s own funds.
