A test to measure the machismo of young people. The Delegate Council for Equality and Prevention of gender violence of the Council of Tenerife has made available to young people the test “Do you get entangled well in your daily life?”, so that they can check if they exist or reproduce sexist attitudes in their public or private relationships.

According to a statement from the head of the area, Priscila de León, the questionnaire is available in the mobile application “Enrédate Sin Machismo (ESM)”, with which it is intended to prevent gender violence among the young population, especially in the relationships of heterosexual adolescent couples.

The “Do you get involved with your partner well?” questionnaire is available in the application, which invites young people to reflect in a playful way on whether they are building their relationships equally and without sexism.

The test includes three levels of difficulty, with six questions each, which must be answered correctly to get a medal.

The “Enrédate Sin Machismo” application also includes a guide and an information dossier that delve into theindicators of control and dominance that are reproduced in young couples and make visible the myths of romantic love, with the aim that women know how to identify what is sexist violence and what resources they have at their disposal to combat it.
