SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 14 Apr. (EUROPE PRESS) –

The Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria (Tenerife) has improved its position in the ranking of the best hospitals in Spain published by ‘Newsweek’ magazine and is in 46th place after climbing five positions compared to the previous year.

The ‘World’s Best Hospitals 2022’ has been collecting the list of the best hospitals in 25 countries for four years, including Spain.

The aim of this study is to provide the best data-based comparison of hospital performance between different countries.

To make the comparison, the magazine is based on different sources of information, details the Ministry of Health in a note.

They collect data from an international online survey of more than 74,000 health professionals around the world, use analysis of indicators such as patient safety and conduct surveys to measure user satisfaction.

The managing director of the Hospital Universitario de Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria, Natacha Sujanani, highlights the importance of this type of recognition “after two years fighting the Covid-19 pandemic” and highlights the daily work of all the professionals who make up the hospitals in La Candelaria, Ofra, the South and the Rumeu Specialty Care Center (CAE).
