The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands will maintain during the Holy Week holidays mass vaccination points in Gran Canaria and Tenerife for all age groups, both for the first and second doses, as well as for the booster dose .
People who completed their vaccination schedule with Pfizer or Moderna must wait at least five months to receive the booster dose, while those who completed their schedule with AstraZeneca or Janssen will be able to receive the booster dose after waiting at least three months.
In the case of a person who has tested positive for Covid-19 after receiving the complete vaccination schedule, the waiting time between diagnosis and administration of the booster dose should be between four weeks and five months.
In Gran Canaria, the vaccination points are located in Infecar and Expomeloneras, from Thursday to Sunday between 09:30 and 18:30, and at the Maternal and Child Hospital from 08:00 to 19:00, and in Tenerife, at the Recinto Ferial, the Magma and the Casa del Emprendedor de Los Realejos, from Thursday to Sunday between 09:30 and 16:30.
In addition, next week the vacuguaguas will be in La Laguna (Tenerife) and Santa Lucía de Tirajana (Gran Canaria).
