SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 12 Apr. (EUROPE PRESS) –
One person has died in the early hours of this Tuesday in a house fire in Puerto de la Cruz, on the island of Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center of the 112 Canary Islands.
The events occurred around 2:17 p.m. in a house, located in a seven-story building, located on Avenida Familia Betancourt Molina in the aforementioned municipality, a place to which members of the Tenerife Firefighters Consortium moved to extinguish the flames and confirmed the existence of a deceased person inside the building.
At the scene of the incident, members of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) appeared with a basic life support ambulance, as well as agents of the Local Police who secured the area for the intervention of emergency resources.
In addition, the National Police took charge of the body until the arrival of the Judicial Authority as well as the investigation of the incident.
