The State Tax Administration Agency of Spain (AET) has paid in the first three days of the 2021 income campaign in the Canary Islands a total of 3.67 million euros (+13.45%), which is equivalent to 7,843 returns returned (19.32%).
In these first three days, until April 8, 2022, 81,535 declarations have been filed in the Canary Islands, which implies 0.92 percent less in relation to the same period of the 2020 campaign when in the first three days they were reached the 82,295 declarationsaccording to data provided by the AET.
By provinces where the presentation of the 2021 income statement has fallen the most in these first days has been in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, which has decreased by 2.04 percent to stand at 34,609, while in that of Las Palmas the drop was 0.09 percent, standing at 46,926 declarations.
So of the 81,535 declarations presented in the Canary Islands as a whole in these first three days of the campaign, 3,879 are to enter (-7.69% in relation to the same period of the 2020 income campaign), which implies the payment of 2.3 million euros (-1.34%).
As for the declarations with a refund request, which have fallen by 1.04 percent, they stand at 72,894 in these days of the campaign, which represents an amount of 48.83 million euros, which in this aspect does imply an increase of 4.05 percent in relation to the previous campaign when this amount stood at 46.9 million euros despite the fact that the declarations requesting a refund were more (73,657) than those that have been made this year in these first three days.
