The Cabildo de Tenerife, through the highways area, will resurface four kilometers of the TF-1 motorway southbound from Sunday, August 29, until the morning of Friday, September 3.
The links of the Polígono Industrial de Granadilla, as well as those of CoCarmen-Chimiche and San Isidro will be affected by the tasks, the Cabildo de Tenerife reported this Saturday.
The works will be carried out at night, between 10:00 p.m. and 06:00 a.m., to affect circulation as little as possible on this high-occupancy road.
The improvement works will focus on the intermediate layer of the road surface in the fast lane and on the inner shoulder that runs from kilometer point 52.7 to 56.7, previously removing the damaged pavement.
Due to the detours, this Sunday, those vehicles that circulate southbound and want to access the Granadilla Industrial Park must continue to the San Isidro junction, make a U-turn and return in the direction of Santa Cruz to the destination junction.
Likewise, people who want to go to the airport from the Granadilla Industrial Park should leave in the direction of Santa Cruz to the Chimiche junction, and make a U-turn to go south.
On Tuesday, vehicles that want to access the Granadilla Industrial Park heading south will have to continue to the Tenerife South airport link and make the U-turn.
Those who drive south and wish to access San Isidro, Granadilla or El Médano, including the CoCarmen Cooperative area, should continue to the airport junction, make a U-turn and return towards Santa Cruz to San Isidro.
On the other hand, vehicles that wish to go from the Granadilla Industrial Park to the airport will have to go to Santa Cruz to the Chimiche junction and make the U-turn.
As of Wednesday, September 1, those who travel south and want to access San Isidro and the CoCarmen Cooperative area must continue to Tenerife Sur airport, make the U-turn and return towards Santa Cruz until the San junction. Isidro.
In addition, as the CoCarmen link becomes inoperative, those who go south from there will have to travel parallel to the highway on the service road and join the Los Cardones exit.
These works are part of the TF-1 resurfacing plan that has been carried out since last April and which includes an approximate execution period of 14 months.
In total, the works, carried out by SACYR, will include about 40 kilometers of this high-occupancy road, between Adeje and Arico.
