The Cabildo de Tenerife, through the Insular Foundation for Training, Employment and Business Development (Fifede), has opened the registration period for training in rural tourism, which will be given at the end of April blended.
The Minister of Employment, Socioeconomic Development and Foreign Action, Carmen Luz Baso, pointed out that this course seeks to train unemployed people in an activity that offers great potential for development in the islands.
In this sense, he recalled that its development is part of the New Employment Niches project, “with which we provide other training that is highly demanded by companies, linked to renewable energies, such as electricity self-consumption, maintenance of electric vehicles, or the ecological agriculture”.
The registration period ends on April 19 and those who decide to take the course will receive transportation aid to facilitate their access to face-to-face classes. In total, 120 hours of training will be given in which content related to rural and cultural tourism will be addressed; urban techniques; project experiences and workshop; and grants and subsidies.
The course is aimed at job seekers with training or work experience in the tourism sector who seek to expand their knowledge to hold jobs related to the rural tourism branch.
