A 63-year-old woman has died after being hit by a vehicle on Avenida Reyes Católicos, in the municipality of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 has reported.
The events occurred at 8:42 p.m. on Wednesday, when a call alerted 1-1-2 that a person had been run over on the aforementioned street and required health care.
1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources.
Upon arrival at the scene, the health personnel could only confirm the death of the woman due to the seriousness of the injuries she presented.
The Local Police regulated the traffic on the road and made the corresponding report.
